Welcome

Ever since I first saw the Tetons it became my goal in life to live in the area. I did have the chance to live in Driggs for a year before, but life’s circumstances swept me away. I was determined to return to what I considered to be my home and to be of service to my friends and neighbors.
The fact that I was really the new City Clerk and that I was really moving back to Driggs didn’t fully dawn on me until I was driving across the shining Idaho wheat fields with a moving trailer. When I finally saw the gray peaks of the Tetons I was completely overcome with happiness. I could see them every day and enjoy the national parks and forests whenever I wanted.
Each day I am happy to serve such a beautiful town with such a strong sense of community. Nearly every person loves living here and cares about what happens. Even though there is a mixture of new arrivals and people who were born here, each person’s unique contribution is appreciated.
The rapid growth that is taking place is exciting and challenging. In just a few years the city will not look the same. Subdivisions and commercial developments are popping up everywhere. We have a chance to do it right and to make our city look beautiful, and I think we will. I am happy to add my skills to a place that needs me and others in its critical time.
