  • The Town of Grand Lake is a quaint mountain town located at the west entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. It is the home to the largest natural lake in Colorado and home to the three lakes area. We have wooden boardwalks in the downtown area which adds color and charm to rustic old-time feel of our community.

The Town and surrounding area has many locally owned stores which cater to tourists, including restaurants, gift shops, marinas, stables, golf courses, RV campgrounds, and accommodations ranging from very nice motels to log cabins.

You can fish, boat, horseback ride, hike, bike, golf, OHV, cross-country ski, snowshoe, and snowmobile in the area. We are called the 'snowmobile capital of Colorado' for the wonderful trails (over 100 miles) and wide open pastures to travel on.

The splendor of Rocky Mountain National Park is breathtaking to behold as you can travel along the highest continuous paved road in America, Trail Ridge Road, or take hikes on the many trails located throughout the Park.

Visit the Town's website at www.townofgrandlake.com or search for Grand Lake, Colorado to get more information.
